Assisted Living
Alabaster comes to the assistance in relocation efforts with residents and their families when:
- It is not safe for them to live alone;
- Custodial care is needed for assistance with getting around the house, meal preparation, housekeeping, toileting, dressing or taking medications;
- You or a loved one has a physical, emotional, or mental disability and are unable to care for themselves;
- You or your loved one suffers with Alzheimer or Dementia disease and must have constant supervision;
- Hospice Care is needed; and/or
- A physician has recommended an assisted living facility.
Assisted living at Alabaster means a special place for people to live who have reached a point in life, where assistance is needed with activities of daily living. Our compassionate and dedicated staff take pride in ensuring our resident's safety and well-being.
We are proud of our site. It is handicap accessible and beautifully senior-friendly furnished. Aesthetically, the rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, has been painted with healing colors and uses state-of-the-art technology for lighting and visuals. We also meet State-licensing requirements for health and safety.
Our dining experience has been carefully thought-out and incorporates cultural foods that are delicious, healthy and specific to the dietary needs of each resident.
We recognize when caring for seniors who need assistance with their daily living that the approach must be gentle, specific and efficient. We are committed to ensuring that our residents feel a sense of being at their own homes, are able to participate in their decision-making and meets life head on -- with excitement!
Our basic service meets State licensing requirements for assistance with daily living. We assist with bathing, dressing, medication administration, transport assistance to doctor and dental appoints, as well as ensuring that their lives are engage with extracurricular activities. Alabaster's story starts and ends with a place where seniors can live their best lives!
Services are tailored to the unique needs of each resident regardless of their mental or physical capabilities. We strive to help seniors feel safe, healthy and engaged in life. What makes us a step above, is that we truly take painstaking efforts to ensure that our residents:

- Are observed closely and carefully at all times to ensure their safety;
- Are encouraged to participate in decisions that affect them (whenever possible);

Our residents can look forward to programs and outings that have been designed to enhance their physical, social, cognitive and spiritual well-being. We work with local churches, senior centers and well-planned on-site programs so that they can look forward to an exciting life. How they choose to spend their days is their business. However, we make it our business to facilitate extra curricula activities both on and off-site so that life feels meaningful.
We also go out of way to make birthdays, holidays and other special occasions memorable. Alabaster strives to keep our residents fully engaged and excited about their lives.
